Concerts, auctions, lotteries and charity days - just part of the list of activities that are held to help sick children.

The charity organization ”Help Sick Children” (Hjælp ukrainske børn) raises money for 7 years old Maksym Tereschuk. He is seriously ill. Doctors' diagnosis sounds of portal hypertension and suspected Gaucher syndrome – absence of the enzyme that removes toxins from the body.

Help the boy

During the past year, Maksym had six bleedings, and during the first few hours the child was on the edge of life and death.

”Every time it happens, we run with the ambulance, and I pray to God for one thing - to get there in right time!” Maksym Tereschuks mother says.

Last year the child and his mother almost lived in the hospital. After a clinic in Belgium examined the boy's dossier and agreed to take him to surgery, Maksym got a chance in life, but it requires payment of a bill of 25,000 euros. Such amount the family does not have.

For help to Maksym Tereschuk it is possible to make a money transfer to the organization ”Help Sick Children”: reg. no. 9570, account no. 11947247 or by MobilePay 53460665 labeled ”Maksym”.

Money from the charity concert divided to three children

”Profits from the concert – 23.030 kroner – are transferred from Club Ukraina´s account to the charity organization ”Help Sick Children” (Hjælp ukrainske børn) and allocated to three sick children who need treatment abroad,” the head of the organization Olha Volkova has informed.

Among these three children is Nadia Kushnirik. She is 1 year and 2 months old. There is urgent need for a liver transplantation at the Belgian clinic Late Luc. Collecting money for Nadia Kushnirik continues. You can support by transferring money to reg. no. 9570, account no. 11947247 or by MobilePay 53460665 labeled ”Nadia”.

The second child is Diana Lychva. She is waiting for treatment in Spain. The child underwent 44 operations in the throat and got scars that prevents normal breathing.

1/3 of the money from the concert was planned to be send to the four month old Valerie Karpiuk, who is suffering from hyperinsulinism, but she shall nevertheless not go to Denmark for treatment, so the money was sent to the seven month old Igor Senejko who is in urgent need of liver transplantation at the Polish clinic Instytut Pomnik.

Do not miss your chance to help

The next event for the benefit of sick children will be held on 30 October in Aalborg from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The organizations ”Lastivka” in Aalborg and ”Help Sick Children” (Hjælp ukrainske børn) will in collaboration with Sct. Mary's Church and the Greek Catholic Church in Denmark hold a charity day.

Those who come to the church Sct. Mariæ Kirke, Kastetvej 1, 9000 Aalborg, can buy homemade cakes, a cup of tea or coffee and attend a charity lottery with great prizes.

Proceeds from the event will go to help children suffering from diseases for which

there is no treatment in their home countries. The children's families are waiting and hoping for our help.
